i sleep on the ground on two matresses, when i lay in my bed the first thing i see are glow in the dark stars, amazing i love them and they make me feel like i'm sleeping outside in a field between flowers and rabits. on my window frame, just above my head, i have made a little altar, as already showed in my last post. (scroll down a bit)
what you may will need:
1. candles
2. loads of blankets and pillows
3. a good book or magazine
4. a big mug
5. a hot chocolate milk or night time tea
6. a jug
7. pajamas + a sweater
8. lavender base bath oils
how to fully relax during winter time:
1. turn off your electronics
nowadays everyone is always busy checking their text messages, facebook etc. we never properly relax, shut your self off from the world for a night and have some me time
2. build your nest
create your bed with knits, blankets and pillows, layer them all up and get your self really cozy
3. find a time to hibernate
you probably don't want to do it on a work night because you can't fully relax because you know you will have to get up early for work, for me a saturday night would be perfect. go to bed earlier than normal and get all snuggled up.
4. bed time beauty
run a really warm bath with some lavender base bath oils to help you relax and light a few candles
5. sleep in style
cotton pjama bottoms are really thick and cozy rather than synthetic ones, a sloppy sweater and some bed socks, you want to feel really cozy so go for quite some layering!
6. nightcap?
get yourself some dark yummy hot chocolate and maybe melt some marshmallows on the top, if you want to go a bit healthier you could make yourself some night time tea
i hope you found this interesting, don't forget to read a good book instead of playing a game on your ipad / mobile phone, it's all about cutting your self off from the world for one evening a week ;)
